Husband of Robbie Tyler Bledsoe
Mr. Luther P. Bledsoe, 77, of 306 Roosevelt Road, died at his residence. He was born May 12,1894 near Haynes in Lee county, and was the son of Mrs. Delia Leatherwood Bledsoe and Mr. Nube Bledsoe. He had spent his entire life in and around Forrest City. A retired Paint contractor, He married Miss Robbie Tyler, she preceded him in death. He leaves one son, Luther W. Bledsoe of Forrest City; and four daughters, Mrs. Gerry Long of Forrest City, Mrs. Joseph Retter of Brickeys, Mrs.Bobby Swan of Knoxville, Tenn., and Mrs. Thaderick Taborn of Brinkley. Two sisters, Mrs. Lela Kinard of Brickeys, and Mrs. Frank Edwards of Memphis, Tenn. ten grandchildren, and six great grand children. Burial in Forrest Park
