Rogers --- Henry H. Smith, 96, of Rogers, died at his home Thursday. Born Feb. 18, 1887 in Lampasas, Tex., he was a retired carpenter and a Nazarene.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Mattie Smith of the home; one son, Jefferson D. of Liberal, Kan.; two daughters, Mrs. Maggie Rogers of Rogers and Mrs. Sudie Huffman of Topeka, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Rogers Nazarene Church with burial in Rogers Cemetery under direction of Collison Funeral Home.

Mrs. Matie Smith, 98, 104 North C St., Rogers, died Dec. 15 at her home. Born April 15, 1877, in Austin, Tex., she was the daughter of L.P. and Mary Wilks Glascock and a member of the Nazarene Church.

Survivors include one son, J.D. Smith, Liberal, Kan.; two daughters, Mrs. Maggie Rogers of the home and Mrs. Sadie Huffman, Topeka, Kan.; 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Rogers Nazarene Church with the Rev. Ted Ingram officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under the direction on Callison Funeral home of Rogers.
