Maudie Huntsman, age 98 of Bald Knob, died Monday, April 14, 2014 in Searcy. She was born September 23, 1915 at Stuttgart, Arkansas to John Wesley Stone and Christina Drake Stone. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Bald Knob and worked for many years at Huntsman Farm Store. She is survived by two sons, Wayne Huntsman of Bald Knob, Ralph Huntsman and wife Olevia of Batesville; eight grandchildren, Howard Huntsman, Keith Huntsman, Wesley Huntsman, Cara Huntsman and husband Kevin Myrick, Jeffrey Huntsman and wife Leslie, Stacey Mason and husband Lee, Blake Crowder, Heather Crowder; thirteen great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Huntsman; parents, John and Christina Stone; three brothers, Leonard Stone, Roy Stone, and Robert Stone.
