Nora Lee (Hodges) Ivy, 78, of Bald Knob, died Saturday, November 23, 2013. She was born February 2, 1935 in Bradford a daughter of the late Prince and Blanche Rhew Hodges. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed traveling, trains and dancing. Nora also served with the VFW Womens Auxillary for a number of years.
She is survived by her children, Karen Scarborough of Searcy, Carol Gilbert of Bald Knob and Debbie Scoggin of Springdale; brother, Jerry Hodges of Judsonia; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Ivy.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel. She will be entombed next to her husband at Shady Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia.
