Billie June Caviness, 70, of Sebring, Florida, formerly of White County, died Thursday, July 12, 2012. She was born July 13, 1941 in Bald Knob a daughter of the late Horace and Opal Fields Jones. She was a retired R.N. and a homemaker. She was a member of the Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Bald Knob and was heavily involved in the Billy and Beth Dalton Ministries while in Florida. She also enjoyed yard sales and most of all, participating in the many activities of her grandchildren. She would often travel great distances so she could attend their functions.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Rhoades of Sebring, Florida and Tom Rhoades (Julie) of Mackinaw, Illinois; a daughter, Debra Rhoades of Kewanee, Illinois; granddaughters, Katherine, Sarah and Lilah Rhoades and Jessika Rivera; sisters, Barbara Goans and Grace Pitman both of Bald Knob.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dana Rhoades; sisters, Linda and Thelma and a brother, John Paul.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob. Services will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Shady Grove Cemetery Memorial Pavilion with Bro. Clayton Hall officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia.
