Mrs. Mary Montine Thomas age 80, of Forrest City, Arkansas died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 after a long illness.
Mrs. Thomas was born March 7, 1932 in Forrest City. She was the daughter of Richard Dooley and Virginia Harris Dooley. Mrs. Thomas was a housewife and a Baptist.
Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by two husbands, Pete Thomas and Odis Thomas. She is survived by two sons, Russell Thomas of Olive Branch and Mitchell Thomas of Wynne; two daughters Nancy Rainey of Palestine and Gladys Woodard of Clarendon; two brothers Bill and Jimmy Dooley both of Forrest City. Nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren also survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Martha Ball and Linda Fowler.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Loughridge Cemetery in Colt. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 Friday at the funeral home. Visit online registry at stevensfuneralhome.net. Under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
