Mr. Raymond Miller, age 64, of Forrest City, died Saturday at the Methodist Hospital in Memphis. He had been in poor health for the past several years.
Mr. Miller was born May 23, 1949, in Cross County, and was the son of Charles Lester Miller and Catherine Douglas Miller. He lived in St. Francis County most of his life, was a painter, and was a member of the Beck Spur Baptist Church.
Mr. Miller married Judy Worley in 1974, and she survives him along with two sons; John Miller and Lee Miller, both of Forrest City, one daughter, Paula Miller of Forrest City, three brothers; Alvin Miller of Wynne, Wayne Miller of Cabot, and Paul Miller of Heber Springs, five sisters; Debbie Martin of Russellville, Kathy Adams of Cherry Valley, Doris Creasey of Weiner, Louise Franklin and Sandra Cheney, both of Wynne, twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He had one brother, Charles Edward Miller Sr. and two sisters; Jean Starkey and Rose Mary Miller, who all preceded him in
death.
Services for Mr. Miller will be held at the Beck Spur Baptist Church, 2:00 P.M., Thursday, with burial in Loughridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening 6:00 till 8:00 P.M.
