Alva Gillenwater born in Forrest City to Alvin Pounders and Elizabeth Clark Pounders. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Dennis Gillenwater of the home; a son, Donald Scott Gillenwater; a daughter, Patricia Ann Gillenwater, both of the home; a sister, Renee Wood of Montgomery, Alabama.
