Wife of William Walter Byrum
Mrs. Inez H. Byrum, age 89, of Forrest City, died Saturday, December 19, 2009, at her home in Forrest City. She had been in poor health for the past three months.
Mrs. Byrum was born July 14, 1920, in Athens, Tennessee, and was the daughter of Mack Harrod and Julia Hickey Harrod. She lived in Forrest City most of her life, was a Hospice Volunteer, and was a member of the Madison First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Byrum married Walter Byrum in 1942, and he preceded her in death. She is survived by one son, William Byrum Jr., of Forrest City, and many other close friends.
Services for Mrs. Byrum will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening 6:00 till 8:00 P.M., at Stevens Funeral Home with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
