Mr. James Anderson Dundas, age 75, of Forrest City, died Tuesday at his home in Forrest City. He had been in poor health for the past several years.
Mr. Dundas was born March 27, 1937, in Jackson, Mississippi, and was the son of Jasper Anderson Dundas and Ruth Evelyn Meek Dundas. He was a master electrician, was owner/partner of B & D Electric Company, was a member of the Methodist Men, the Kiwanis, the Forrest City Area Chamber of Commerce, Ducks Unlimited, M.Y.F. Group Leader, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, a Veteran of the Army, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Forrest City.
Mr. Dundas married Linda Bunch in 1961, and she preceded him in death in 1996. He married Naomi Stephens in 1998, and she survives him along with one daughter, Evy-An Ray of Madison, Mississippi, one son, Jay Dundas of Fayetteville, Arkansas, one brother, Richard Dundas of Bartlett, Tennessee, and one granddaughter, Chandler Nicole Ray.
Services for Mr. Dundas will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 11:00 A.M., Friday, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening, 6:00 till 8:00 P.M., at Stevens Funeral Home with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
