Husband of Maylene Black Findley
Mr. Mark Doyle Findley, age 82, of Forrest City, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, at his home. Mr. Findley was born Feb. 14, 1923, in Cornerstone, the son of Royal Findley and Bessie Mae Doyle Findley. He was a Yale plant manager, a veteran of World War II and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Mr. Findley married Maylene Black in 1943, and she survives him. He is also survived by two sons, Jack Doyle Findley and Richard Scott Findley, both of Forrest City; a sister, Grace Beasley of Texas; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Keith Goza officiating. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
