Mr. Michael Ray Gilmer, age 50, of Colt, died Thursday, March 10, 2005, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.Mr. Gilmer was born Jan. 10, 1955, in Forrest City, the son of Bruce Gilmer and Bunie Hartley Gilmer. He lived in St. Francis County most of his life, worked in construction, a veteran of the National Guard and was a Baptist.Mr. Gilmer is survived by his mother of Colt; three brothers, Carl Gilmer, Rueben Gilmer and Terry Gilmer all of Colt; three sisters, Glenda Hudgens, Geneva Wilson and Betty Mancle all of Colt. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Gilmer, in 2001.Visitation for Mr. Gilmer will be held on Friday, March 11, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2005, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.
