Mrs. Bunie Hartley Gilmer age 87 of Colt, Arkansas died Monday, July 9, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Gilmer was born October 19, 1924 in Eudora, Mississippi. She was the daughter of Dave Hartley and Clemmie Louise Oswalt. She had made her home in St. Francis County most of her life, was a housewife and a member of the Forrest City Baptist Church.
Mrs. Gilmer married Bruce Gilmer in 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1993. She is survived by three daughters, Betty Mancle of Mayflower, Glenda Hudgens of Colt and Geneva Wilson of Madison; three sons, Ruben, Terry and Carl Gilmer all of Colt. Eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren also survive her. She was preceded in death by two sons, Bruce Gilmer in 2000 and Mike Gilmer in 2005.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 12. 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be form 6 to 8 Wednesday at the funeral home. Visit online registry at stevensfuneralhome.net. Under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
