W.C. "Dub" Jackson, age 75, of Forrest City, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 1999, at his home. He was born Oct. 4, 1923, in the Newcastle community to Wesley and Calista Jackson. He was a retired employee of Forrest City Machine Works and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by a son, James Jackson, in 1992. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Jackson of Forrest City; a daughter, Judy Armstrong of Forrest City; two sons, Mike Jackson and Timmy Jackson, both of Forrest City; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1999, at Stevens Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Thomason officiating with burial to follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Margaret Lloyd Jackson, age 82, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, in Memphis. Mrs. Jackson was born Oct. 9, 1924, in Memphis, the daughter of Thomas V. Lloyd and step father Robert F. Sample and mother Almedia Sample. She was retired from the Department of Human Services and was a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church. Mrs. Jackson married W.C. Jackson in 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1999. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Armstrong of Forrest City; two sons, Michael A. Jackson and Timothy V. Jackson both of Forrest City; three brothers, James L. "Joe" Lloyd of Forrest City, Roy Sample of Earle and Thomas D. Lloyd of Norcross, Ga.; a sister, Virginia L. Moore of Norcross, Ga.; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, James Wesley Jackson in 1992. Visitation for Mrs. Jackson will be held on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, at Stevens Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.
