Jean Cloyes, 81, of Bald Knob, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012. She was born July 28, 1930 in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of Charles and Letica Doherty. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Jean is survived by a daughter, Linda Northcut; a son, Gary Cloyes and his wife Sharon; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Miller, Brian James, Jason Cloyes, Candace Anselmi, Erica Ruble, Ethan Cloyes and Seth Cloyes; and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Billy Ray Cloyes, a daughter, Carolyn Cloyes, and a sister, Ellen Queen.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 28 at 2:30 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist church of Searcy. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Powell Funeral Home of Bald Knob.
