When Lonnie Elmo Aldridge was born on July 21, 1906, in Arkansas, his father, Dallas, was 35 and his mother, Sarah, was 28. He married Nettie Bell Rooks (O'Rooks) on September 27, 1923. They had four children in 12 years. He died on January 20, 1949, in Bald Knob, Arkansas, at the age of 42, and was buried there.

Lonnie Elmo Aldridge, aged 42, of Bald Knob, died at his home Thursday. He was a carpenter.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nettie Aldridge of Bald Knob; three daughters, Eileene and Betty Aldridge of the home and Mrs. Wanda Geiger of North Little Rock; his mother, Mrs. Leona Aldridge of Bald Knob, and a brother, Arthur of Bald Knob.
