Dorvin Devoe Holt, 59, of Springdale died Jan. 28, 1995, at his home. He was born Aug. 22, 1935, at Jasper to John Amos Holt Sr. and Anna Mae Morgan Holt. He was an automobile mechanic and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Victory Family Church of Perryton, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Genevie Marie Holt, on July 12, 1994; his parents; one son, Milton Amos Holt; one brother, Lloyd Holt. He moved to Springdale six months ago from Perryton.

Survivors include three sons, Wesley Holt of Pampa, Texas, John Harlan of Springdale and Roger Harlan of Sonora; seven daughters, Cathy Burton, Erin Jean Holt and Jeana L. Holt, all of Springdale, Jackie L. Freedle of Fayetteville, Lauralee Keen and Nellann M. Holt, both of Perryton and Debbie J. Harland of San Antonio, Texas; five foster sons; five brothers, Edgal Holt of Pea Ridge, John Holt Jr. and Kenneth Holt, both of Springdale, Henry Holt of Clarksville and Harry Holt of Elm Springs; three sisters, Glenna Young of Fayetteville, Mary Ann Viera of Rogers, Ruby Peacock of Harrison; 18 grandchildren.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Sisco Chapel of Springdale with the Rev. Marlin Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Sonora Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Roger Harlan, John Harlan, Wesley Holt, Ric Burton, Larry Freedle and John Keen.

Honorary pallbearer will be Ben Costales.
