Wife of James F "Jimmy" Wells
Mrs. Ann Wells, age 74, of Branson, Missouri, formerly of Forrest City, died Wednesday at her home in Branson. She had been in poor health for the past several years.
Mrs. Wells was born January 29, 1937, in Marianna, and was the daughter of Hawley Merrell and Bessie Davis Merrell. She lived in Forrest City until moving to Branson in 2005 and was retired from the American General Insurance Company.
Mrs. Wells married Jimmy Wells and he preceded her in death in 1990. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Wells of Branson, one granddaughter, Emily Ann Wells of Branson, one step-son, Jim Wells of Atlanta, Georgia, and one sister, Christine Sims Pierce of Forrest City. She was preceded in death by three sisters; Thelma 'Sis' Wilson, Hazel Mitchell, and her twin sister, Mary Francis Merrell.
Services for Mrs. Wells will be held Graveside, 11:00 A.M., Saturday at the Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City.
