James Leroy Fourthman, age 68, of Colt, died early Thursday morning, Feb. 22, 2007, at Crossridge Hospital in Wynne, after a long illness. Born Nov. 7, 1938, he was the son of James Dewey Fourthman and Ruthie E. Lacey. he was a shop attendant for the Arkansas Highway Department prior to his retirement. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife Dolly of the home, two sons, James Earnest Fourthman and Stanley and his wife Jennie Williams, both of Colt; three daughters, Jada and her husband Roger Davidson of Wynne, Judy and her husband Eddie Brown of Pine Tree and Patty and her husband Johnny Henderson, also of Pine Tree; three brothers, Henry Fourthman of Marion, John Thomas and wife Melissa Fourthman of Lilbourn, Missouri and James Dewey and wife Hollie Fourthman of Wardell, Missouri; three sisters, Mary and her husband Rob Young of Portageville, Missouri, Bonnie and her husband Herbert SMith of Anderson, Missouri and Rosie and her husband Dalton Morefield of Wynne; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Albert and Faye Easter, Nathan and Jeanette Easter and Danny and Marilyn Easter all of Sheridan. Funeral services for Mr. Fourthman are scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Morgan Chapel with Bro. Andy Price officiating. Burial will follow at Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
