ROGERS (Special) -- John Henry Krug, 70, died at 10:15 p.m Thursday in Rogers Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness. Born May 15, 1890 in Russia his family came to the United States in 1897 and located on a farm in Russell, Kan. He also farmed in La Crosse and Bazine, Kan. where he was married April 2, 1114 to Zuanna Schlegel. They came to Rogers in 1935 and lived there until 1949 when they moved to California where he operated a grain and fruit farm. he retired in 1958 and returned to Rogers, where he was a member of Nazarene Church.

Survivors are the widow of the home; seven sons, Elmer, Clarence, Leslie, Vernon, Ben and John Henry, Jr., all of Woodlake, Calif. and Wilmer of Fairfield, Calif., six daughters, Mrs. Viola Leppell, Mrs Elsie Decker and Mrs Mildred Mallon, all of West Sacramento, Calif., Mrs. Helen Weiser and Mrs. Florence Welborn of Rogers and Mrs. Bertha Roller of Bentonville; 31 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Burns Funeral Home.

ROGERS (Special) - Funeral services for John Henry Krug who died Thursday will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Church of the Nazarene by the Rev. W.E. Master. Burial will be in Rogers cemetery under direction of Burns Funeral Home.
