Sept 8,1963-June 5,2005
Mr. Johnny Dale Lucas, age 41, of Cherry Valley and formerly of Forrest City, died Sunday, June 5, 2005, at his home. Mr. Lucas was born Sept. 8, 1963, in Forrest City, the son of Melvin Lucas and Joan Thetford Goe. He was an electrician, a member of the Electrical Workers Association and an employee of Sanders Services in Jonesboro. Mr. Lucas married Tina Leary in 2002 and she survives him along with a son, Michael Lucas of Frisco, Texas; his father of Forrest City; his mother and step-father Gene Sullivan of Colt; a brother, Michael Lucas of Forrest City; three sisters, Debra Colinger of Waldo, Ronnie Thomas of Vanndale and Melanie Abram of Forrest City; one grandson and several other relatives and friends. Visitation for Mr. Lucas will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 10, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.
