Owned and operated Tischer's Jewelry Store in Forrest City, well located on N. Washington Street. It was purchased in 1936 by Mr. Tischer and operated until he passed away on Aug.18,1939. His wife was the owner, and it was managed by her brother, William Edwin Endicott (also buried in Forrest Park Cemetery) who was an expert jeweler and watchmaker with over 15 years experience in 1939. He was formerly located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and owned two stores in the state. He was also watch inspector for the Frisco, Sante Fe, and M.K and T. Railways for several years.
