Katherine Elizabeth Rae Florek, 15, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Friday, June 27, 2008 in Aubrey, Arkansas. Katie Beth was born on October 9, 1992 in Newport, Arkansas to Ralph Frederick Florek and Beth Phillips Florek.
She is survived by her mother, Beth, of Helena; her father, Ralph, of Louisiana; brothers, Kevin Florek of Chalmette, Louisiana and Fred Florek and Reyna of Sunsett, Louisiana; grandmother, Beverly Phillips of Helena; niece and nephew, Isabella and Alexander Florek; aunts, Connie Huff and Wayne, and Debbie King and Rodger; cousins, Lauren Huff, Chris Stevens and Amanda and Dylan Stevens.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Allan Phillips.
Services for Katie Beth will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Helena First United Methodist Church. Reverend Carolyn Doering will officiate. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Helena First United Methodist Church, 502 Porter Street, Helena, Arkansas 72342, or to DeSoto School, 497 Thunderbird Drive, West Helena, Arkansas 72390.
