Wife of Walter Blake Barnes Jr
Mrs. Lula Frances Barnes, 88, Retired Secretary at First National Bank in Forrest City, AR, died Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Azalea Gardens in Oxford, MS.
Funeral Services will be Monday, January 16, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Dr. Gary Richardson officiating.
Visitation will be prior to the Service from 10:00 until 11:00 Monday at Waller Funeral Home.
A Graveside Service will be held in Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City, AR at 2:30 P.M. on Monday.
She was Born in Wynne, AR.
Mrs. Barnes was the Widow of Mr. Walter Blake Barnes, Jr.
She was a Member of First Baptist Church in Oxford; and enjoyed Sewing and Cooking.
Her love of cooking led her to Teach a Cooking Class called "Cooking With Mrs. Lula" at Azalea Gardens.
Survivors include her Daughter, Larie Barnes Engles and Husband, John, of Carrollton, TX; her Son, Walter Blake Barnes, III and Wife, Donna, of Oxford, MS; one Sister, Doris Abernathy, of Carrollton, TX; five Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren
