Wesley “Ray” Reynolds, 73, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away Friday December 5, 2008 in Jonesboro, AR at St. Bernard Hospital. He was born July 15, 1935 to Roosevelt Reynolds and Zelma Casey Reynolds.

Ray was Parts Manager for Planter’s Service for 35 years before semi-retiring. He was of the Baptist Faith and served as a Deacon for Antioch Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Betty L. Wilson Reynolds of the home, daughters Debbie & Ken Spargo and Leslie & Jay Scurlock all of Jonesboro, sons Randy & Nikki Reynolds of West Helena and Gary & Doris Reynolds of Mt. View, 8 grandchildren, Bobby May, Amanda Covington, Jeremy Reynolds, Timmy Reynolds, Patrick Reynolds, Jacob Scurlock, Ethan Scurlock and Ella Scurlock, 6 brothers Willie C. & Loetta Reynolds of Marianna, R. V. & Fince Reynolds. of Hot Springs, Bob & Betty Reynolds of Helena, Roy & Linda Reynolds of West Helena, Richard & Sharon Reynolds of Walcot, Jerry & Gail Reynolds of Spokane, Washington and Mother-in-Law Bessie Wilson of Lexa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Eulin Reynolds, Orvel Reynolds and sister Marvine Brown.

Pallbearers will be Jason Odle, Jason Worstell, Wayne Ginn, Charlie Brown, Jay Scurlock, Ken Spargo and Alternate Jamie Covington, Honorary Pallbearers, grandsons and great grandsons.

Memorials to Antioch Baptist Church 801 Airport Road West Helena, AR 72390 in memory of Ray Reynolds.

Services will be Monday, December 8, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Chapel 508 Plaza West Helena, AR 72390, 870-572-2571 with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park West Helena. Visitation 6-8 P.M. Sunday, December 7, 2008 at the Chapel.
