SPRINGDALE — James R. "Blackie" Lee, 75, of Springdale died Sept. 13, 2008, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born Oct. 28, 1932, in Marble to Clyde and Lovie Foster Lee. He retired from Tyson Foods and he enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Vicky Lee.
Survivors include his wife, Clara Lee of the home; two sons, Ricky Lee of Oklahoma and David Lee of Springdale; one daughter, Belinda Treat of Green Forest; one sister, Eunice Curtis of Locust Grove, Okla.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Sonora Cemetery in Sonora with the Rev. Harry Jackson and the Rev. Nancy Scroggins officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Treat, J.D. Welkley, J.R. Koch, Dale Karr, Tyler Thornburg and Carson Lee.
No visitation is planned.
Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
