Springdale - John J. Overlander, 71, of Route 2, Springdale, died Thursday at the Springdale hospital. Born July 9, 1896 in Oklahoma, he was a retired state employe.
Survivors are one step-son, Lowell White of Benton; one sister, Mrs. Faye Lutz of Springdale and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sonora Cemetery under direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel.

Springdale — Mrs. Elizabeth Overlander, of Route 4, Springdale died Sunday. She was a Christian Scientist.
Survivors are her husband, John J. Overlander of the home; one son, Lowell Lingle White of Benton; one sister, Miss Lee Lingle of Warsaw, Mo.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside rites at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Sonora Cemetery under direction of the Callison-Sisco Funeral Home.
