Sally Archer Afflick, 53, of Memphis, formerly of Blytheville, passed from this life Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at her home.

Born in Blytheville to Charles W. and Carter Boatwright Afflick, she was a volunteer second grade teacher and attended Hope Presbyterian Church in Memphis. Sally attended the University of Arkansas and Memphis College of Arts. She was very interested in art and she loved children and animals.

Sally is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Afflick Jr. of Blytheville;

A brother, Charles W. Afflick III and wife, Lynn, of Jacksonville, Fla.;

A sister, Carter Afflick Whisenhunt and husband, Brock, of Little Rock; and

Three nieces and one nephew.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Scott Trotter officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the Afflick home from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Tennessee suicide Prevention Network, 295 Plus Park Blvd, Suite 201, Nashville, TN 37217 or the charity of your choice.
