Grover Cleveland Wren, 100, of Mountain View entered into rest on August 19, 2010 in Mountain View.
Grover was born June 22, 1910 in Manila, Arkansas to O.S. Wren and Mollie (Montgomery) Wren. His family moved to Blytheville Arkansas. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Osceola. He was employed by Weiss Butane Gas Co. in Blytheville. He was later employed by and retired from Home Oil Co., in Osceola.
He was married to Katie Stidham in 1933, but they had no children. He is survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and –nephews and by great-great-nieces and –nephews and many other loving relatives and friends.
He loved his family dearly and was wonderful husband and uncle.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Pete Wren; sisters, Minnie Rogers, Beulah Owens, Edith Kolwyck and Berta Bagley.
There is no visitation.
Graveside service is 2 p.m., Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Elwood Cemetery, Blytheville. Honorary pallbearers are Gary Guglielmana, Gregg Forman, Anthony Forman, Chuck Forman, Brandon Wren and Troy Stidham.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home, Mtn.View is in charge of the arrangements.
