BELLA VISTA — Genevieve Ruth Payne, 91, of Bella Vista died July 15, 2008, at her home. She was born Nov. 28, 1916, in Kansas City, Mo., to Guy and Laura Etta Holbrook.
She was a member of Bella Vista Presbyterian Church and the church choir. She enjoyed dancing and traveling. He was a past member of Ladies Shrine, the Al Malaikah Temple in Los Angeles.
Survivors include her husband of more than 72 years, John A. Payne of Bella Vista; a son, Robert L. Payne of Bella Vista; a daughter, Sharon Pierce and husband John of Julian, Calif.; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Presbyterian Church in Bella Vista. The Rev. John T. Conley will officiate.
Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, 72762.
