ROGERS — June M. Gaddy, 77, of Rogers, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born in Bloomfield, Neb., on Nov. 26, 1934, to Harry and Lillian Grimm.
June was raised in Cheyenne, Wyo., and moved to Rogers in 1972. She was very involved with her church, First United Methodist Church in Rogers, and volunteered in the Mother's Day Out program. She also was an avid gardener and could be found most days outside, working in her flower garden or relaxing on her deck, watching the birds. She will truly be missed by her family and many friends.
Survivors include four daughters, Sheila Williams and Mitzi and Kurt Bird of Rogers, Jeanenne and Tim Herr of Hot Springs, Ark., and Wanda Doss of Bastrop, Texas; grandchildren, Cory Williams, Anita Wessels, Mike Schemerhorn, Nick Schemerhorn, Timothy Herr, Destin Herr, Nichole Wilhelm and Mitzi Ratcliff; siblings, Norma, Lois, Twila, Rose, Sharon, Leon and Windy. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
June was pre-deceased by her parents; daughter, Margaret Marie Doss; former husband and friend, William Gaddy; and siblings, Don, Dick, Harold and Lila May Grimm.
A private burial will be held at a later date with immediate family.
Donations can be made to Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, where she lived her final days under their gentle and compassionate care.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Benton County Memorial Park of Rogers.
