Wanda Lee Moody Baker of Kansas City, Missouri formerly of Calico Rock, Arkansas
Wanda Lee Moody Baker, daughter of the late Garland Moody and Anna Maude May Moody, was born February 25, 1930 in Crossroads, Arkansas. She departed this life July 9, 2014 in Olathe, Kansas at the age of 84 years, 4 months and 14 days. She was united in marriage to Carl E. Baker and to this union three children were born. She spent her life as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law: Michael and Laurie Baker and Robert and Patti Baker all of Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter and son-in-law: Carla and Brad Lewis of Overland Park, Kansas; one brother: Billy Moody of Wentachee, Washington; three sisters: Bonnie Crosby of Melbourne, Barbara Reves of Batesville and Kathy of Wentachee, Washington; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Wilburn Moody.
Graveside funeral service will be Saturday, July 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Wises Chapel Cemetery in Crossroads, Arkansas with Mike Haney officiating. Burial at Wises Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
