He was the son of Henry Martin Blair and Susan Octavia Daniel.

Roscoe Blair
Henry Blair married Susan Octavine Daniel. They spent all of their married
life in the Cooper community on Bear Creek. Their children were Mollie who married John Lloyd; Martha (Matt) who married Kay Luttrell; Roscoe who married Cora Horton and later married Carrie Wasson; Grover, who married Manda Rose; Ras who married Emma Luttrell (a sister of Kay Luttrell) Sarah
who married Neil Drewry; and Tom who married Florence Cash.
Roscoe Sanford Blair married Cora Belle Horton, daughter of Nathaniel and
Louisa Horton. They had one daughter, Ola Melissa. Cora died when Ola was
four years old. Roscoe then married Carrie Wasson, daughter of Millard and
Mary Ruff Wasson. Their children are Millard Alvin Blair and Mildred Kuykendall Waymon. Roscoe and Carried lived in the Bear Creek community. Millard Alvin Blair married Edith Morris of Salt Lake City, Utah. They had
one son, Raymond. Millard has lived and owned various business enterprises
in Hawaii for over forty years. He recently purchased a farm on Bear Creek and plans to build a home there. Raymond is married and has two sons. He owns and operates a business in Hawaii. His home is one the island of Maui.
Mildred married Tilmon Kuykendall. They have one daughter, Dolores, who is a computer operator in Kansas City, MO. Mildred later married Grady Waymon of Princeton, MO and lived in Missouri until her death.
Ola Melissa married Doyle Thomas Horton, son of John Harding Horton and Fronia Dell Bryan Horton. They lived on and operated the family farm on Bear Creek. Their children are Levoy (deceased), Johnnie Roscoe Horton,
and Eva Jo Horton Cates.
Johnnie Roscoe married Lucile Keeling, daughter of Leonard and Jennie Stephenson Keeling. Johnnie recently retired from the U.S. Agriculture Department and moved back to Marshall and is building them a home here.
Lucille will soon retire from teaching in Kansas City, MO. Their children
are John, Judy and David Horton, and Susan Horton Hanks. Grandchildren are
>> Jimmy Joel and Jenna Horton, and Crystal Hanks.
Eva Jo Horton Cates is a speech pathologist in the Marshall School. Her children are Steven, Daniel, and Craig Cates, and Patti Cates Caton.
Grandchild is Benjamin Thomas Cates.
