Services for Dr. Edward Lee Taylor were conducted Saturday morning in Guntersville, Ala. Graveside services were conducted Sunday at Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville by Dr. Robert Moore and Rev. Ed Garner.
Dr. Taylor, who practiced medicine here several years, died in Guntersville following a heart attack.
He was a Mason and a member of the Marshall County, Ala., Arkansas and American Medical Associations.
A 1938 graduate of the University of Tennessee Medical School, he completed a residency in sociology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center and for two years held an American Cancer Society fellowship.
He is a veteran of World War II and a member of the Methodist Church.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Wood Taylor, and three daughters: Mary Anne, Leah and Tenley Sue, all of the home.
Howard Funeral Service of Blytheville was in charge of arrangements.
