Rogers, Ark., Oct. 9-(Special)- Funeral service for the Rev. Charles Benjamin Huff, 59, evangelist, pastor of the Spring Street Mission in Rogers, who died Saturday afternoon from injuries suffered in a fall from the roof of his home, will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Spring Street Mission. A military service will be held at the Rogers cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of the Rogers American Legion post.
Mr. Huff was repairing the roof Friday evening when he slipped on some warm tar and fell, striking his head on the corner of a concrete porch step. His shoulder was broken, and he suffered a brain fracture and internal injuries.
Mr. Huff was born in Cave Springs, Ark. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Fiana Dibler Huff; his wife, Mima Smith Huff; daughter, Luceita Huff, at home; twin brothers, the Rev. Daniel Huff, Wichita, Kan., and James R. Huff, Springdale.
Burns Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
