Marvin Head, 65, Rt. 4, Rogers, died this morning at Rogers Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan. 19, 1909 in Pea Ridge, the son of Joseph Lee and Dove Bone Head.

He was a retired heavy equipment owner and operator.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Winchester Head of the home; two sons, J.B. and Howard Wilks, Rogers; one daughter, Mrs. Keith England, Rogers; his mother, Mrs. Joe Head, Rogers; one brother, Blakely Head, Rogers; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Callison Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Rogers cemetery.

ROGERS — Mildred "Mom" Head, 91, of Rogers died March 31, 2002, at her home. She was born Oct. 5, 1910, in Kansas to James Elmer and Ida Mae Floyd Winchester. She and her husband founded the Suzy Q Drive In. She was a member of Tucks Chapel and Happy Turtles Club. She enjoyed traveling and sewing. Her husband, Marvin Head, preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Howard and wife Georgia Wilks and J.B. Head and wife, Patti, all of Rogers; one daughter, Jodie England of Rogers; two brothers, Bill Winchester of Rogers and Jack Winchester of Stockton, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rogers Cemetery with Wilson Rowlett officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Rogers.
