BELLA VISTA — Wilbur "Bud" Warren Manire, 87, of Bella Vista died June 13, 2002, at Beverly Health Care in Rogers. He was born Nov. 2, 1914, in Green Forest to Henry Wilbur and Ida Warren Manire. He moved to Bella Vista two months ago from Bemidji, Minn. He lived in the Chicago, Ill., area before retiring to Bemidji. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bemidji and worked for Brach Candy Co. in Chicago for 43 years. He had been active in Boy Scouts, baseball, Little League and the Senior Center.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Price Manire, to whom he was married Oct. 21, 1939; two sons, Warren Manire and wife Wanda of Ozark, Ala., and Dennis Manire and wife Cindy of Titusville, Fla., two daughters, Patricia Davis and husband Lee of Bella Vista and Sandra Manire of Bentonville; one sister, Nadine Cory of Roswell, N.M.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Bella Vista Funeral Home with Pastor Jebson officiating.

A second service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Bemidji. Ashes will be buried in Villa Park, Ill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
