Nancy Caroline Cowan, 83, of Van Buren, died Thursday, April 15, 1993, at a Van Buren Nursing Home.
Born May 3, 1909, at Jethro she was the daughrer of the late Jim and Susie
Barnett Perry. She was a homemaker and a member of The Gospel Lighthouse in
Alma. Mrs. Cowan was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlene Brown and Lula Mae Brown, both of Alma; two
sisters, Sarah Bartley of Alma and Elsie Cowan of Ozark; eight grandchildren
and 13 great grandchildren. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m.
Saturday at McLaughlin cemetery. Burial was under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were grandsons Teddy, Larry, Ricky, Gary and Darrell Brown and David Thrane.
