Grier Peoples Moore, age 66, of Huffman, died yesterday morning at Doctor's Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Union City, Tenn., he had lived in the Blytheville area since 1917. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Church of God.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Minnie Lee Moore of Huffman;
One son, Rev. Harold Moore, of Blytheville;
One daughter, Mrs. Paul Green of Caruthersville;
Two brothers, Lonnie and Moss Moore, both of Blytheville;
And three grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. from Cobb Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. J.C. Coats and Rev. Warren Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Pall bearers will be Charles Langston, John O'Neal, W.T.Metzger, Jr., Shon Pollard, Charles Stevens and Lloyd Lott.

Mrs. Minnie Lee Moore, 97, of the Huffman community, died Friday, February 4, 2005, at her home. Born in Huffman to Tom and Ella Brackin Ray, she had been an area resident all of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grier P. Moore, and her children, Pansy Green and Harold Moore.
Mrs. Moore leaves two brothers, Jimmy Ray of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Maulden Ray of Tulsa, Okla;
A daughter-in-law, Peggy Moore of Huffman;
Three grandchildren: Roger Green of Bakersfield, Mo., Diane Jamieson of Germantown, Tenn., and Jean Moore of Huffman; and
Four great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Huffman Church of God, with the Rev. Danny Lacer officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville.
