Dale Lee Chidester, 60, of Fort Smith died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002, in a local hospital. He was retired from housekeeping at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center and a member of Abundant Life Tabernacle. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Barling City Cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Lurena Baker of Fort Smith; a sister, Donna Shephard of Fort Smith; three brothers, Richard and Robert Baker, both of Fort Smith, and James Baker of North Little Rock.
