Wanda C. Neal Sanders of Pineville, Arkansas
Wanda C. Neal Sanders, daughter of the late George Oliver Neal and Mamie Elizabeth Gifford Neal, was born October 3, 1937 in Brockwell, Arkansas. She departed this life June 24, 2014 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 76 years, 8 months and 21 days. She was united in marriage to Coy Dale Sanders on January 22, 1955 in Mountain Home, Arkansas and to this union two sons were born. She was a life long resident of Izard County. She was a 1955 graduate of Calico Rock High School. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, homemaker and friend. During her working years, she was employed by Baxter Travenol Lab in Mountain Home, retiring after 20 years of employment. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Dolph Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law: Coy Neal and Edie Sanders of Mountain Home and Justin and Jessica Sanders of Calico Rock; three sisters: Bobbie Rainey of Levenworth, Kansas, Millie Wyatt of Bexar and Carol Sapp of Guion; one grandson: Ezekiel Sanders of Mountain Home; and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Coy Dale Sanders in 2005, six siblings: Paul Neal, Wilma Neal, J. B. Neal, Etter Lee Neal, Hazel Holden and Jessie Neal.
Funeral service will be Friday, June 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Calico Rock Funeral Chapel with Wayne Wood and Jeff Sanders officiating. Burial will be at Wayland Arbor Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Visitation will be Thursday, June 26 from 6-8 p.m.

Pallbearers: Vic DeLoach, Fred Blickle, Danny Moser, Randy Ward, Junius Lawrence and Nicky Smithson.
