Gerald D. Passmore, 77, of Lavaca entered into rest Thursday, April 22, 2004, in his home. He was born Nov. 27, 1926, in Arbuckle Island. Gerald was a retired foreman for Dale Crampton and a member of Union Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, DeLois of the home; four sons, Lawrence Bly and wife Carol of Tulsa and Mike Passmore and wife Elizabeth of Greenwood; his mother, Ollie Passmore of Charleston; one brother, Bobby Passmore and wife Beatrice of Lavaca; two sisters, Virginia Brewer and husband Kie of Lavaca and Jo Nell Rainwater of Charleston; and grandchildren Jay and wife Deana Bly, Amy and husband Randle Overbey, Debbie and husband Peter Kursch, Scott and Melissa Bly and Weston and Paige Passmore. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Lavaca with burial at Island Cemetery under the direction o Lewis Funeral Chapel of Lavaca. Pallbearers will be Hugh Hardgrave, Perry Newman, Johnny Lee Hobbs, Gary Passmore and Roger and Jerry Rainwater. The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

DeLois G. Passmore, 79, of Cecil died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006, in Fort Smith. She was born in Ozark July 23, 1927.
She was a retired machine operator for Dixie Cup after 38 years, a member of Union Baptist Church.
She was the widow of Gerald Passmore.
Funeral services were at First Baptist Church, Lavaca. Burial was at Island Cemetery, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home of Lavaca.
