Tony Cruise, 51, of Van Buren died Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, in a local hospital. He was a member of the Van Buren National Guard for six years, was retired from Crawford Health & Rehabilitation Center and a Baptist. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Arbuckle Island Cemetery north of Lavaca under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. He is survived by his wife, Gwen; a son, Michael Cruise of Van Buren; a stepdaughter, Tracey Howard of Van Buren; a stepson, Harold Morgan of Mountainburg; a brother, Tommy Joe Cruise of Sacramento, Calif.; three nieces, Bobby Sills of Plano, Texas, and Sue Mahan of Roland and Samantha Scarborough of Barling; a nephew, Shannon Cruise of Dallas; and nine grandchildren. The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Times Record Online
