BELLA VISTA — Marilyn Miller Harris, 69, of Bella Vista died Nov. 24, 2002, at her home. She was born Oct. 28, 1933, in Ponca City, Okla., to George W. and Margaret Craddock Miller. She grew up and was educated in Ponca City and was a graduate of Oklahoma University and Indiana University with a masters degree. She taught school for 26 years in Kansas, Oklahoma, Indiana and Arkansas, retiring from the Bentonville School District in 1991.

She moved to Bella Vista in 1983 from Woodburn, Ind., and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista. She married Thomas M. Harris on Sept. 3, 1955.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas of Bella Vista; two sons, Thomas Harris and wife Cynthia of Tulsa, Okla., and Todd Harris of Indianapolis, Ind.; one grandson, John Henry Harris.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 3 at the First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista with the Rev. Thomas Stone officiating.

Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home.

In lieu of Bowers, memorials may be made to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter, 32 Bella Vista Way, Bella Vista, 77715, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, Tenn. 38101.
