Lawson McKinney, 86 of Clinton passed away October 7, 2008 at his residence. He was a WWII veteran and a retired well driller. Lawson was also a member of the Pee Dee Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Bramlett McKinney, son Darrell McKinney, daughter Dortha Kirk, granddaughter Bridget Kirk Sisco, grandson Johnny Kirk and family. Funeral services are 10:00am Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the Pee Dee Baptist Church with burial in the Pee Dee Cemetery.
