BELLA VISTA - Roscoe Junior Gordon, 83, of Bella Vista died Sept, 20, 2006, at Bella Vista. He was born Jan. 27, 1923, to Ross Gordon and Vesta Stubbs Gordon. He was a veteran of World War II and was retired from General Motors in Fairfax, Kan. He moved to Grand Lake in Oklahoma and then to Bella Vista in 1990.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Opal Gordon of the home; two daughters, Carolyn Brockmeyer of Webb City, Mo., Marilyn Mitts of Grandview, Mo.; one son, Richard Gordon of Joplin, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. today at Bella Vista Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box 1653, Topeka, Kan. 66601.
