BELLA VISTA — Arlene May Geer, 85, of Bella Vista died May 1, 2004, at her home. She was born April 6, 1919, in Colony, Kan., to Marvin Aaron and Bernice Leota Albright McBee. She and her husband moved to Bella Vista in 1983 from Wichita, Kan. She was a member of Bella Vista Community Church. Her interests included painting, fishing and golf. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Milton Geer Jr.
Survivors include one son, Dr. Fred A. Geer III and wife Pamela Gardner Geer of Overland Park, Kan.; two grandchildren, Aaron G. Geer of Merriam, Kan., and Jaime A. Geer of St. Louis, Mo.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Bella Vista Community Church with the Rev. Richard Lindman officiating.
Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to a favorite charity or Bella Vista Community Church.
