Doris Lavern Isom- Horton passed away September 14, 2013 in Clinton, Arkansas. She was born October 30, 1940 at Botkinburg.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, aunt, cousin, sister and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charley and Gracie (Bigelow) Isom, son Jamey Mack Horton, sisters, Nina Jean Isom, Nancy George, Jean McCaslin, brothers, Charlie B. Isom, Jr., and Jackie Isom three husbands, Cecil Delk, Charles G. Gaddy and Buster Horton, One step-son, Ronald Delk.
She was of the Pentecostal faith. She loved going to church, loved to be with her family and friends, and loved to work. Her favorite past time was going to yard sales and thrift stores.
Survivors: daughter; Sherry Delk Chapman (Roger) of Choctaw, sons; Jackie B. Isom of Clinton, Johnny Delk of Harrison, and Jimmy Gaddy of Shirley, step-children; Donald Delk of Shirley, Shirley McKenzie (Ralph) of Little Rock, Glenda Evans of Little Rock, grandchildren Dori Delk, Nancy Jean Isom, Ranae Wilson, James Wilson, Kelly Wilson, Jessi Deertz, Hannah and Ryan Gaddy, great-grandchildren; Marissa Delk, Kyli Revello, Jaden Mackey, Kaleb Wilson, Sophyia Wilson and Xzavier Golden and nine step –grandchildren , sisters Margaret Johnson of Clinton, Lois Treece (Larry) of Shirley, Martha Mulford (Mark) of Harrison, JoAnn Isom of Clinton, and Elsie Hensley (Jerry) Little Rock, brothers; Allen G. Isom of Clinton, Gerold Don Isom (Helen) of Clinton, Charles G. “Charlie” Isom (MaxAnne) of Center Ridge, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers: Warren Johnson, James Wison, Alvin Isom, Donald Delk, Tommy Delk and David Delk.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday, September 18, 2013 and Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton Arkansas, with Pastor Don Mulford officiating. Burial will follow at Pee Dee Cemetery.
Funeral Arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Arkansas.
