Verna Nell Smith, 86 of Clinton, Arkansas passed away Monday, October 14 2013 at her home. Verna was born July 28, 1927 in Formosa, Arkansas to Ira and Cora Nicholson.
She was a faithful member of Formosa Church of Christ. She worked for many years at UAMS in Little Rock from which she retired.
Verna was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Cora Nicholson, her first husband D.P. Blissett, her second husband Hubert Smith, and one stepdaughter Joyce Hill.
She is survived by three brothers, Troy (Joyce) Nicholson of Yellville, Arkansas; Alfred (Zula) Nicholson of Clinton Arkansas; Don Nicholson of Clinton, Arkansas; one sister, Mildred Harris of Choctaw, Arkansas; one step son, four stepdaughters, numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
Pallbearers: Robert Esterline, James Story, Gerald Bonds, Gary Harris, Jim Whisenant, and Bobby Hartwick.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas.
Funeral Service will be 10:00am Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Formosa Church of Christ Clinton, Arkansas with Brother David Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Culpepper Cemetery

Hubert W. Smith 85, Formosa Community, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Monday, March 21, 2011 at his home. He was born May 14, 1925 at Houston, Arkansas to the late Tom A. and Elvia (Coley) Smith.
Mr. Smith was a member of the Formosa Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife Verna Nell Smith, two daughters Debbie Davis and husband Jim, of Amboy Indiana, Dana Schafer and husband David, of Kokomo Indiana, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, three sisters Sylvia Miller of Kokomo, Indiana, Sue Dale of Kokomo, Indiana, Uleda Bogue, of Indiana, one brother John Smith of Kokomo, Indiana, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Pallbearers: Mike Hill, Terry Davis, Jim Whisenant, Tony Davis, Tommy Davis, John Smith.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday, March 23, 2011 and Funeral Service will be 10:00am Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Culpepper Cemetery.
