BURCH, V.R. - Brother V.R. Burch, the subject of this tribute, was born in Middle Tennessee January 2, 1834, was in the Confederate army during the last war from the beginning to its close; was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church, died Dec. 7, 1898. Whereas the Divine Master has seen fit in his unerring wisdom and love to call from labor to reward Bro. Burch who has been for several years a member of Elm Springs Lodge No. 154, A.F. & A.M resolutions follow. Signed, P.B. Hopkins, J.C. Robinson, W.E. Derrick, Committee.
